System 22 -itseskuuttaavan vaunu on suunniteltu Seldénin 22 mm:n itseskuuttavalle järjestelmälle. Siinä on Torlon-kuulalaakerit ja ruostumattomasta teräksestä valmistettu kiinnitys hela sujuvaa toimintaa varten. Plokin toggleen sopivat Selden PBB50-, BBB60- ja R60 sarjan plokit.
Suositellaan veneille, joiden oikaisumomentti on alle 35 kNm 30° kallistuskulmalla, mikä vastaa noin 6 tonnin uppoumaa.
Selden Itseskuuttaava järjestelmä on helppo kasata ja kahdesta kisko koosta löytyy sopiva malli 20-45 jalan veneisiin.
Itse skuuttavan fokan ansiosta veneen hallinta on paljon helpompaa erityisesti pienellä miehistöllä purjehtiville. Fokan skuutti johdetaan poikittaisee kiskoon kiinnitetyn vaunun kautta, ,joka liikkuu kiskossa sivuttain eikä näin tarvitse koskea fokan jalukseen. Vendaaminen, Ts. vastakäännös luovilla on yhtä helppoa kuin veneen ohjaaminen tuulensilmän läpi.
Jälkiasennus on helppoa . 22mm sarja sopii 20-35:n jalan veneisiin ja 30mm sarja 30-45 jalkan veneisiin. Kisko on tukevaa korkea profiilista (High Beam) mustaksi eloksoitua alumiinia. Vakio mittaiset kiskot on valmiiksi taivutettu eri säteille. Kiskon kiinnittämiseen tarkoitetut sivukonsolit on valmistettu HS teräksestä. Konsoli kaarien kiinnitykseen on vaihto-ehtona kannen läpi tai aina 90° kääntyvään kiinikkeeseen jonka esim. kiinnittää ruffin laitaan.
Valitse tapa, miten fokan skuutti ( jalus ) johdetaan vinssille. Sitten sopiva kisko J mittaa hyödyntäen. ( etäisyys etustaagista mastoon.) Siten että R on mahdollisimman lähellä J mittaa.

SELF TACKING JIB SYSTEMS
self-tacking jib makes life on board a lot easier, in particular for short handed crews. The jib sheet is led to a car which moves to leeward during the tack with no need to touch the sheet. Tacking is as simple as steering the boat through the wind.
For retro-fit installations on boats ranging from 30’ to 45 feet’, 30 mm High Beam tracks with a standard radius and standard length can be ordered from stock. The side consols, deck fittings and a car are added to complete the system. A ball-joint allows for perfect alignment of the track to a 90° angle to the direction of load for an easy installation to the deck or coach side

SELF TACKING JIB SYSTEMS
OVER THE FORE DECK
This is the simplest and most common arrangement. The sheet is led from the clew, through a single block on the car, through a block at the bow and back to the cockpit
UP THE MAST
Through a block at the foot of the mast and back to the cockpit. The deck light and the steaming light on the mast might need to be relocated. Sheet cranes are available for boats fitted with VPS (Verticle Pole Stowage) system.

System 22 – Single Self-Tacking Car, Torlon Ball Bearings, Stainless Toggle with Stand-Up
The System 22 Self-Tacking Car is designed for Seldén 22 mm self-tacking system. It features Torlon ball bearings and stainless toggle for smooth operation. The toggle accepts PBB50, BBB60 and R60 blocks.
