29441332BK Size 1 TB Genoa Car with Double Control Line Sheaves (Starboard)
The Lewmar TB Genoa Car with Double Control Line Sheaves delivers smooth, stable headsail lead adjustment for high-load track systems. Its track-bearing (TB) design ensures low-friction movement under load, while double control line sheaves provide balanced, efficient trimming from both sides of the car. Manufactured from durable, marine-grade materials, the car offers reliable performance and long service life. Ideal for cruising and performance yachts requiring precise, responsive headsail control and efficient line management.
High Performance Headsail Control
The Lewmar TB Genoa Car with Double Control Line Sheaves is engineered to deliver precise, responsive adjustment for high-load genoa and jib systems. Designed for performance cruising and racing yachts, it provides accurate lead positioning and dependable handling under tension, allowing sailors to optimise sail shape and maintain consistent performance in all conditions.
Track-Bearing (TB) Genoa Car Design
At the heart of the car is Lewmar’s Track-Bearing (TB) configuration which transfers load directly into the genoa track for superior stability and alignment. This design ensures smooth, predictable movement along the track even under heavy sheet loads, reducing friction and allowing efficient adjustment without binding.
Double Control Line Sheaves for Balanced Adjustment
The integrated twin control line sheaves enable clean, symmetrical routing of adjustment lines from both sides of the car. This balanced configuration improves control-line efficiency, reduces friction, and allows for precise fore-and-aft positioning from the cockpit. The result is smoother, more responsive trimming with reduced line wear during repeated adjustments.
Smooth, Low-Friction Performance
Precision-engineered sheave profiles and bearing interfaces ensure consistent, low-resistance movement across the track. This sooth operation enhances trimming accuracy, improves handling feel and supports efficient headsail adjustments, even under sustained load in demanding sailing conditions.
Marine-Grade Durability
Manufactured from high-strength, corrosion-resistant marine-grade materials, the TB Genoa Car is built to withstand sustained loads, frequent use, and harsh offshore environments. Its rugged construction ensures long service life and reliable performance on both cruising yachts and race-prepared vessels.
Optimised for Modern Headsail Systems
Designed to maintain correct lead geometry, the genoa car supports improved sail shape, reduces chafe, and maximises sail efficiency. Its ability to combine smooth adjustment with strong load handling makes it particularly well suited to modern performance rigs and high-load sail plans.
System Integration & Application
Fully compatible with Lewmar genoa track and T-track systems, the TB Genoa Car with Double Control Line Sheaves is suitable for both new installations and professional refits. Ideal for yachts requiring precise, cockpit-adjustable headsail leads, it provides a refined, system-integrated solution backed by Lewmar’s long-standing expertise in sail-handling hardware.
