This new DS08 is a folding aluminum deck shackle suitable for soft lashing and splicing as a Dyneema loop. Compared to the Antal Dyneema pad eye, this is particularly suitable for vertical loads (i.e. furlers tack in single or 2:1, textile forestay, runners, etc.). The deck shackle must be positioned so that the load direction is in the indicated green areas where it offers the maximum resistance (SWL: 2800 kg).
