The Clockwise Cheek R60 manual ratchet block is designed for spinnaker/gennaker sheet applications on dinghies and keelboats and features a ø60 mm composite sheave. The sheave has a clockwise direction when in ratchet mode and is therefore intended to be used for starboard sheet.
The block is designed with lightweight Delrin ball bearings and a switch to select ratchet function or a free spinning sheave. When the ratchet is activated it locks the sheave in one direction and allows the sailor to relax a bit without cleating the line.
TECHNICAL FEATURES
The block is designed with lightweight Delrin ball bearings and comes with a composite sheave.
The Sheave turns freely clockwise. When used as a turning block for spinnaker sheet, fit it on starboard quarter.
The sheave automatically changes from free-turning to ratchet when the load increases. The sailor decides when the automatic ratchet kicks in.
The switch-over point is set using an allen key to adjust a screw inside the sheave. Fast, simple, precise.
Attaches with three M5 screws.
